Event Policy

For: “Vibe First, Swipe Later – A Conscious Dating Social” Organised by: So You Socials (the social arm of The Conscious Mind Psychotherapy)

 

1. Purpose of the Event

This event is designed as a psychoeducational social experience facilitated by a psychotherapist. It blends learning, self-reflection, and social interaction in a safe, conscious, and emotionally intelligent environment. It is not a matchmaking service or therapy session.

Tickets are always sold with a close to 50–50 male–female balance. We don’t segment participants by age or other demographic specifics, as our focus is on creating meaningful, vibe-based connections rather than strict criteria. We try to ensure a fair mix nonetheless. A match-making service will be more appropriate if you prefer matching based on demographic factors.

Despite achieving gender balance at ticket sales, we can not control who decides to forfeit their ticket.

 

2. Participant Agreement

By registering for this event, participants agree to:

• Take full responsibility for their own emotional and social engagement.

• Respect the privacy, space, and boundaries of others.

• Engage in a spirit of openness, non-judgment, and mutual respect.

• Inform the organizer of any emotional discomfort or personal needs during the session.

 

3. Code of Conduct

To maintain a psychologically safe environment:

• Any form of harassment, inappropriate behavior, or disrespect may result in immediate removal from the event without refund.

• Participants are expected to maintain confidentiality and discretion regarding stories shared during the session.

• All interactions should remain consensual, kind, and curiosity-led.

 

4. Emotional Responsibility

This event may involve light self-reflection or emotional insight activities. Participation is always voluntary. If at any time you feel overwhelmed, you are encouraged to step away or speak to the facilitator. You are responsible for regulating your own emotional and mental wellbeing.

 

5. Disclaimer of Liability

I understand that this event is not a substitute for therapy. I will not hold The Conscious Mind Psychotherapy or its representatives liable for any emotional distress, interpersonal outcomes, or personal decisions made during or after the event. I acknowledge that all activities are optional and that I participate at my own discretion.

 

6. Photography & Media

Photos and videos may be taken for marketing and documentation purposes. If you do not wish to be included, please inform us before the event begins. Your privacy will be respected.

 

7. Refunds and Cancellations

All sales are final. If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your ticket to another person with prior notice. Refunds will not be granted for no-shows or voluntary withdrawal during the event.
